WHAT WE DO
PROGRAMMES & PROJECTS.
We work together with local Cars Area residents to develop our community.
Part of the work we do is running activities and events requested by local residents based on their needs. We meet as a Partnership to review the latest needs and encourage new residents to get involved.
We have funded over 20 community groups, run an employability programme, helped set up 2 businesses and continue to support new ideas, activities and events.
Something for everyone
Various activities to not only cater to local interests, but also provide social connections, friendship, practical and emotional support. This includes Yoga, Bingo, Busy Hands Knitting and Crafts, Exercise Classes, Car Boot Sales and Seasonal Events
Kids in the community
As well as providing an environment for children to have fun and learn, our Stay & Play group has the added reward of helping to develop connections between people in the community, whilst helping children learn and develop
Giving skills for life
Making sure our community prospers by supporting teaching and learning, to drive economic growth in the area. We run an employability skills programme and topical events for financial matters such as "Dealing with the Cost of Living Crisis"

To receive ongoing funding from the Local Trust, we work with the community to create formal plans based on what we want to achieve and how best the community believes we can do it.
